Apple and Samsung settle non-US patent disputes

Technology rivals Apple and Samsung have agreed to settle all of their patent disputes outside of the United States, in a move that will end a host of international lawsuits that have cost the companies millions of dollars. The firms have been locked in legal disputes over claims they illegally used each other’s technology in their handsets and tablets.
