French government crisis: 'Krankreich' not Frankreich

The French government reshuffle drew one major surprise: the appointment of former Rothschild banker, 36-year-old Emmanuel Macron, as Economy Minister. Hollande and Valls have now sidelined leftist dissidents to re-commit to economic reforms anathema to parts of the left in the ruling Socialist Party. For Germany, looking on at France's political crisis, Frankreich is now 'KRANKreich' (Krank meaning sick), that's according to Bild. Der Spiegel, meanwhile, says Hollande is at the end of the road.
