Racism, riots and police violence: USA under scrutiny

The family of Michael Brown is calling for the arrest of the police officer who shot him dead. Meanwhile, the actions of the police on the streets are being called into question, and the Missouri National Guard has been sent to Ferguson. How has this American story come to be? What are the factors that led to the shooting of an unarmed black teenager by an officer whose pledge was "to serve and protect"?

Watch the second part.
