The End of Chavismo? Venezuela Protests Escalate (part 2)

Ten months after the death of Hugo Chavez, protests are escalating in Venezuela. His less charismatic successor Nicolas Maduro has been unable to contain a groundswell that started as student demonstrations two weeks ago that have since spread amid anger against crime, inflation and shortages on staple items like powdered milk, sugar, and toilet paper. Do recent events herald the end of Chavismo?
