Edith Piaf tribute's encore run, and jazz festival season in full swing

The Edith Piaf tribute "Hymne à Piaf" is back at Paris' Essaïon Theatre for an encore season, to coincide with the centenary of the iconic French chanteuse's birth. Jazz singer Caroline Nin performs the show in both French and English, which is also in partnership with the "Piaf" exhibition currently showing at the National Library of France.

Caroline tells Richelle Harrison Plesse why France's most beloved musical diva was really a punk at heart.

Also, jazz lovers in Paris are in for a treat with the 22nd Paris Jazz Festival kicking off on June 7 and Lisa Simone - daughter of Nina - closing the Saint-Germain-des-Prés Jazz Festival on Monday.
