Intelligence report warned of IS group attacks in Turkey

Turkey’s intelligence agency issued repeated warnings about seven militants from the Islamic State (IS) group, also known as ISIS or ISIL, who were suspected to have crossed into Turkey illegally with the intention of staging deadly attacks.

The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) informed security forces about possible attacks by IS group militants on June 22 and July 3.
