Policing the internet: France cracks down on hate speech (part 2)

As France buries the victims of the recent terror attacks, lawmakers are working out what to do in the name of those who marched in the name of freedom of speech on Sunday. With plans to widen internet surveillance, some are wondering if France is headed for its own equivalent of the Patriot Act, enacted in the US in reaction to 9/11. A crackdown on hate speech is already underway. Is France set to get embroiled in a free speech double standard?
