In India, the nationalist BJP-led government has angered many artists and intellectuals, who accuse it of stoking religious tensions, muzzling criticism, and pushing Hindu ideology in the country’s cultural institutions. A programme prepared by Patrick Lovett, Laura Burloux and Claire Pryde.
