Haute couture: Chains and Napoléon’s sisters on the Parisian runway

The 2016 spring-summer haute couture collections did nothing less but dazzle its fashion-conscious audience in Paris. While Viktor&Rolf took on a cubist approach, Schiaparelli went surrealist and Armani monochrome. Others, like Yiqing Yin, incorporated chains into the much-awaited show, and Valli had Napoléon’s sisters dancing down the runway.
