FRANCE 24 interviews two Egyptian political or human rights activists on the fifth anniversary of the fall of former president Hosni Mubarak.

Abderrahman Mansour and Bahey Eldin Hassan criticise what they call a "short-termist" Western policy that backs current Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Looking ahead, they outline ways in which activists who remain inside Egypt can continue to take a stand in increasingly difficult circumstances.
