False papers are proving to be the only solution for some migrants and refugees seeking to cross into Macedonia from the Idomeni border in Greece, where the flow of passage has been restricted. FRANCE 24 reports.

In Idomeni, roughly 13,000 to 14,000 people are camping in dire conditions with few hopes for continuing the journey to Western Europe after Macedonia tightened border restrictions, only allowing a limited number of Iraqis and Syrians to get through.

This has led some migrants and refugees from other countries to seek false papers showing they are Iraqi or Syrian.

FRANCE 24 investigates.
