Five years after the start of uprising against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) presents a special web documentary looking at the human toll of the conflict.

Since pro-democracy protests in Syria first erupted in spring 2011, the country’s conflict has claimed the lives of more than 270,000 people and displaced millions, sparking a refugee crisis.
