Rescue plan for sinking Hanjin Shipping

The parent company of South Korea's Hanjin Shipping is to step in with emergency funding to save the company, which had filed for bankruptcy protection in 43 countries. The firm's troubles had left dozens of its vessels stranded at sea, unable to pay docking fees. Also today, Bayer sweetens its offer for Monsanto and some new research on the gender pay gap.
