Hillary Clinton made history Thursday when she officially became the first female presidential candidate for a major party. Accepting the Democratic nomination, Clinton noted that the "moment of reckoning had come.

In an emotional, uncharacteristically rousing speech from Philadelphia, Clinton acknowledged the milestone moment in US history, but said the country faced major challenges ahead.
