Destruction in Haiti 'catastrophic'

INTERNATIONAL PAPERS, 07.10.16: The deputy mayor of the port city of Les Clayes in Haiti has described the situation there as "catastrophic". The death toll in the country continues to rise as Hurricane Mathew begins to batter the southeast coast of the US. Also, UKIP's "out for the count", according to the Daily Mail, after an "altercation" between two party members left one in hospital. And Pakistan closes a legal loophole that allowed perpetrators of so-called "honour killings" to walk free.
