You reap what you sow

After the UK voted to leave the European Union, fewer foreigners came to work on British farms. Two factors were at play: a weakening pound (and thus lower pay) and fears of a hostile atmosphere towards immigrants. Now, to plug the gap, Environment Secretary Andrea Leadsom is encouraging young Britons to take up farming and, hopefully, enjoy the fruits of their labour.
