Since July's failed coup in Turkey, and the wide-scale purges that followed, Germany has registered an increase in the number of Turks seeking asylum. Germany is home to the world's largest Turkish community, but tensions are on the rise within the diaspora there, mirroring the bitter divisions in Turkey itself.
