As Iraqi forces battle to retake Mosul from the Islamic State group, the population is escaping. More than 60,000 civilians have already fled Mosul and found refuge in camps on the city's outskirts. This is no doubt just the beginning: more than a million people live in Iraq's second city, and NGOs fear a major humanitarian crisis. FRANCE 24's special correspondents followed some of the displaced people on their exodus.
