Volkswagen close to $4.3bn US settlement over emissions scandal

Volkswagen has agreed a draft settlement with US authorities over the emissions-cheating scandal, which will see it pleading guilty to criminal charges and paying fines of $4.3 billion. The agreement must now be approved by VW's supervisory and management board. Also today: a possible change to videos on Facebook.
