Kenyan doctors' strike continues after 50% pay hike offer withdrawn

In tonight's edition: doctors in Kenya continue striking after the government withdraws an offer of a 50% pay hike, the UN envoy to Western Sahara resigns and we take a look at Benin's "Very Holy Church of Jesus Christ".

Kenya has upped the ante in a tense standoff with medical staff who have been striking since December. Government negotiators have withdrawn an offer of a 50% pay rise.

Also, secessionists from the disputed Western Sahara have blamed Morocco for the resignation of a UN envoy to the territory.

And Benin's "Very Holy Church of Jesus Christ” is controversial but it does not seem to dent the church's soaring popularity, or eclipse its founder's appeal. Every Sunday, thousands of followers gather to listen to Parfaite, who promises to "chase demons".
