Kenya's parliament seeks plan to curb rising food prices

In this week's edition: poor rains and scant harvests in Kenya send inflation skyrocketing; a seaside community in Mozambique sees its hopes for growth and investment stall; and scientists in South Africa discover that a species of hominids may have coexisted with our ancestors.

Also, a seaside community in Mozambique sees its hopes for growth and investment stall as the natural gas project they'd hoped would fuel change hits funding hurdles.

And South African scientists discover that a species of hominids may have shared more of man's evolutionary timeline than previously estimated. Homo sapiens and Homo naledi are closer cousins than we thought.
