Hacking back: Why business needs to trust the good guys online

After the global ransomware attack, we look at why businesses need the good guys in the hacking community to combat cyber crime. Stephen Carroll talks to Cedric Messeguer, co-founder of Digital Security and member of "YesWeHack", the first European "bug bounty" platform. It connects ethical hackers and companies in order to strengthen their cyber security.

Also in this programme:

  • Bitcoin bubble: The value of Bitcoin remains close to a record high, despite its image being dented by the WannaCry attack. Those affected by the malware were told to pay the ransom in Bitcoins.
