Macron's government, a careful blend of political hues?

Newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron promised a new era in French politics, and has kept his word by appointing a prime minister from another party than his own. With a conservative premier and a cabinet made up of ministers hailing both from the left and the right, Macron is wreaking havoc on the political scene. Meanwhile, the president is taking his first steps as France's new commander-in-chief.
