Migration summit: European leaders agree to help Niger and Chad secure borders

In tonight’s edition: European and African leaders discuss getting the migrant crisis under control; a plastic bag ban comes into force in Kenya; and Senegal turns to its neighbours to help with a shortage in sacrificial animals, just days before Eid al-Adha.

Leaders from three African nations meet their EU counterparts in Paris to discuss getting Europe's worst migrant crisis under control.

Also, Kenya cracks down on plastic carrier bags. As of today, manufacturing, selling or even carrying plastic bags could see you slapped with a hefty fine or even face jail time.

And with the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha fast approaching, Senegal turns to its neighbours Mali and Mauritania to help with a shortage of sheep and lambs to sacrifice.
