Kenya vote re-run takes place amid clashes and partial boycott

It's been a tense day across Kenya as voting in the presidential election re-run got under way after several attempts by opposition leader Raila Odinga to have the vote delayed. Anticipating possible violence, President Kenyatta had urged voters to go straight home after casting their ballots. The EU’s election observer mission has cast doubt on whether this re-run was free or fair.
