Video: Meeting Sudanese asylum seekers in Paris

For the past two years, the top country of origin for asylum seekers arriving in France has been Sudan. Many Sudanese say they have been forced to flee violence and extreme poverty in the Darfur region, but also political persecution. The UK had long been their preferred destination, but the closure of the Calais "Jungle" camp has made it more difficult for them to cross the Channel. Our reporters went to see how these asylum seekers are adjusting to life in northern Paris.

A programme prepared by Patrick Lovett and Laura Burloux.
