'Hotel Rwanda' Director Terry George on the Armenian Genocide

He rose to fame with films like “In the Name of the Father” and “The Boxer” about the troubles in Northern Ireland, and “Hotel Rwanda” about the Rwandan genocide. Terry George's new film “The Promise” - out this week in France - is an epic romance set against the backdrop of the Armenian Genocide. It's already been targeted by Internet trolls for its controversial subject matter.

FRANCE 24's film critic Lisa Nesselson sat down with the filmmaker at the Deauville American film festival where “The Promise” premiered earlier this year.
