Bulgaria takes the helm: Deputy PM Donchev on taking over the EU presidency

Bulgaria is Europe’s poorest member state, one of its newest, and the latest to take over the rotating EU presidency for the next six months. On this edition of Talking Europe, Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev tells FRANCE 24's Catherine Nicholson about his country's main priorities for the next half-year: security, migration, and Brexit.

Tomislav Donchev also reacts to his country's recent clashes with the EU over migration quotas and air pollution, with Bulgaria’s capital Sofia given the unhealthy title of Most Polluted European Capital.
