Kenyan TV channels remain closed despite court order

In tonight's edition: three TV channels in Kenya are still off air, even after the High Court ordered the government to end their shutdown; thousands of Congolese are fleeing from South Kivu into Burundi, with aid workers struggling to cope; and the late Congolese opposition leader Etienne Tshisekedi is remembered in Kinshasa, one year after his death.

Despite a court order to reopen TV channels in Kenya shut down for coverage of opposition leader Odinga's mock inauguration this week, the stations remain closed. TV executives and backers of the opposition fear further reprisals from the government.

Also, in DR Congo, a military assault on militia in South Kivu has sent thousands of people fleeing over the border into Burundi. Aid workers there are struggling to respond to the sudden influx.

And a year after veteran Congolese opposition leader Etienne Tshisekedi passed away in Brussels, his body remains in Belgium. In Kinshasa, those close to him are commemorating his legacy.
