'When I first started going to North Korea it was much more isolated'

Katharina Zellweger, who lived in North Korea for five years and still visits regularly, gave us her take on the Singapore summit between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump. "I see this as hopefully a good beginning", she told us. On North Korea in general, Zellweger said that when she "first started going in the mid-90s it was much more isolated". For her, the big win would be the lifting of sanctions to help the economy and the people living there and allow medical aid in.
