Trump invites Putin to Washington, France celebrates the World Cup

The World This Week looks at the Helsinki Summit between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, as well as a forthcoming follow-up meeting in Washington proposed by Trump. It would be a first visit to the US in over 10 years for the Russian president. We then focus on France, still revelling in their World Cup success, but one Frenchman may not be so happy. Emmanuel Macron this week faced his first presidential scandal: a security handler sacked for beating protesters.

Produced by Michele BARBERO, Tommaso MAZZANTI and Laure FOURQUET.
