FRANCE 24 awarded at the ‘AIBD TV AWARDS’

FRANCE 24 awarded at the ‘AIBD TV AWARDS’ in Asia for its report 'Iran, awakening dissident' by Pascale Bourgaux.

The jury of the "AIBD TV Awards" organized by the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, awarded the FRANCE 24 report “Iran, awakening dissident” the best TV program in the category entitled "Economic Recession and Impact on Developing Countries".

Filmed by Pascale Bourgaux, special correspondent for FRANCE 24, this report was broadcast last January on FRANCE 24 three channels (in French, English and Arabic). It offers a new perspective on the impact of the economic crisis on the Iranian middle class which has suffered from the embargo for many years.

The prize-giving ceremony will take place on August 12th in Rangoon, Burma, during the 12th ceremony of the AIBD TV Awards.
