FRANCE 24 partners with Distribution Access, Canada’s leading educational media distributor

Leading international news broadcaster FRANCE 24 has signed an agreement with Distribution Access to provide its English and French-language news services to educational institutions, teachers and students across Canada

FRANCE 24 international news and informational programming will become a valuable resource for Canadian students and teachers through the educational video library service offered to all educational institutions in Canada. Distribution Access, Canada’s leading distributor of video learning content will include the FRANCE 24 content on its web based service to schools with correlations to Canadian curriculum for selected TV shows, special reports and web documentaries.

Distribution Access serves over 15,000 public schools, 3000 libraries and more than 200 post secondary institutions across the country delivering educational video programs as support for classroom instruction. The agreement with FRANCE 24 provides access to current on-demand international news and informational programming to enhance the educational library service giving teachers and students a fresh perspective on world affairs.

In Canada, FRANCE 24 has held CRTC licenses for digital broadcast of the English and French language channels since 2008 and will continue to consolidate its development across the country.
