Islamabad admits Mumbai attacks partly planned in Pakistan
Part of the planning for the December attacks in Mumbai that killed more than 160 people was carried out in Pakistan, the country's top interior ministry official said for the first time. Six people have been arrested in connection with the attacks.

Pentagon withdraws charges against USS Cole suspect
A Pentagon judge has withdrawn charges against Guantanamo detainee Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, accused of participating in the deadly October 2000 attack on the USS Cole. He remains in custody and can be charged again.

Saudi Arabia publishes 'wanted' list of terror suspects
The Saudi Interior Ministry compiled a list of 83 Saudis and two Yemenis wanted for terrorist activities, calling for them to turn themselves in. Fifteen suspected militants previously sought by the government have turned themselves in so far.
SPAIN
Police arrest a dozen suspects in terror swoop
According to Spanish media, police have arrested at least 11 people suspected of ties with Islamist terrorist organisations in twin raids in Barcelona and Valencia.

Terror cell leader arrested for plotting 'jihad'
A Muslim cleric and six of his followers were handed jail terms of between four and 15 years in Australia for forming a terror cell plotting bomb attacks against civilians.
