Deadly avalanche hits Kosovo as freeze grips Europe

A 5-year-old girl was rescued on Sunday after an avalanche hit the village of Restelica in southern Kosovo, killing at least nine people. The death toll from the deep freeze affecting much of Europe now stands at more than 500.
