Tension and tragedy: “Of Gods and Men”

This Wednesday sees the release here in France of one of the most eagerly anticipated films to be shown at this year's Cannes festival. 'Of Gods and Men' was awarded the 2010 Grand Jury Prize, and has received plenty of critical acclaim. Today’s Culture guest is the film’s screenwriter and co-producer Étienne Comar. 'Of gods and Men' is based on the real life story of a group of monks who were kidnapped by islamist militants in Algeria in 1996.
