US dismisses Assange's 'wild assertions' of Wikileaks witchhunt

Julian Assange's claims that the US were conducting a witchhunt against Wikileaks have been dismissed as "wild assertions" by Washington DC. The US State Department denied any involvement in Sweden's efforts to extradite Assange from the UK.
