D-Day landing anniversary honours African-American vet

US President Barack Obama will join his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy for the annual commemoration of D-Day. An African-American veteran will receive the Legion of Honour, recognition of his all-black unit's role in the 1944 operation.
