Marseille beat Paris to grab fourth spot in the standings
Olympique Marseille moved up to fourth after they claimed a 1-0 home win against archrivals Paris Saint Germain. Friday's game was postponed from Oct. 25 after several PSG players were diagnosed with the H1N1 virus.

PSG set to face Marseille after swine flu delay
France’s two biggest clubs, Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain, are set to meet Friday evening in a re-arranged league fixture at the Stade Velodrome. The original match was postponed at short notice on October 25 after a swine flu outbreak at PSG.

The clash between the French league's most prolific attacks produced just one goal as Brazilian midfielder Wendel helped Bordeaux to a deserved win over Rennes, returning the French champions to the top of the table.

French seven-times champion Lyon have taken the Ligue 1 lead after a 2-1 victory over Toulouse. Marseille were defeated by Valenciennes 3-2 (picture) shortly before an important Champions League match against Real Madrid.

A late goal for striker Bafetimbi Gomis (picture) helped a lacklustre Lyon side rescue a 1-1 draw Sunday against Paris Saint-Germain in France's Ligue 1. At the end of the sixth day, title holders Bordeaux remain alone in the top spot.
