ICE in $8.2 billion deal to buy NYSE Euronext

The US-based IntercontinentalExchange Inc. agreed to buy the New York Stock Exchange Euronext Thursday in a $8.2 billion deal. While the sale has been given the green light by the boards of both companies, it still needs to be approved by regulators.

Wall Street helped Greece hide bad debt, reports NYT

The New York Times reported Sunday that Wall Street tactics worsened Greece's crippling debt. The newspaper said that with Wall Street’s help, Greece had engaged in a decade-long effort to skirt European debt limits.
