Swiss authorities have rejected a US request to extradite film director Roman Polanski over a child sex case dating from 1977, ending a 10-month legal standoff that has attracted widespread attention from around the world.
British actress Charlotte Lewis (pictured) said Friday that the director Roman Polanski "forced himself" on her nearly 30 years ago when she was 16. Polanski is currently fighting extradition to the US to face sentencing in another child-sex case.
