Mladic war crimes trial suspended indefinitely

Former Bosnian-Serb general Ratko Mladic’s trial at The Hague was suspended indefinitely on Thursday due to “irregularities” in the transfer of prosecution documents. Mladic was being tried on 11 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The UN's Yugoslav war crimes court issued an arrest warrant Wednesday for the French former spokeswoman for the tribunal's chief prosecutor. Florence Hartmann (pictured) refused to pay a 7,000 euro fine for contempt of court charges dating from 2009.
