Film show: 'Mother!', 'Redoubtable', 'Gifted' and 'Terminator 2'

Film critic Lisa Nesselson tells us why Darren Aronofsky’s latest release merits its exclamatory title. "Mother!" provides us with an apt metaphor for environmental catastrophe if not an easy viewing experience. A new French biopic dares to laugh at New Wave legend Jean-Luc Godard: "Redoubtable" revisits a tricky chapter of the director’s career.

We also wonder whether an extraordinarily high IQ is a help or a hindrance as “Gifted” tells the story of a little girl who’s a mathematical genius. And he said he’d be back: Terminator 2 returns to our screens in retro-fitted 3D.
