Latest update : 2012-11-16

FRANCE 24 has concluded a new distribution agreement in Cambodia and launches today on ONE TV’s Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) offer.

FRANCE 24, French version, is now available 24/7 on channel 19 of the ONE TV basic offer, for 3 dollars per month (2,29 Euros).

FRANCE 24 is now potentially available to the 1.2 million households subscribing to the Cambodian DTT service.

This agreement will foster FRANCE 24’s development in Asia where its French version is available “à-la-carte” in New-Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong-Kong, while its English version is received in more than 10.5 million households across the continent, notably in India, Thailand, or Hong-Kong.

Brice Bertrand, Asia-Pacific Distribution Director commented: “Expanding FRANCE 24 in Cambodia and joining ONE TV’s basic package is a strategic step in our development. It is also important for us to be associated with the launch of the DTT, which represents an advancement in technological evolution. What is more, Cambodia is a major actor in the French-speaking world and the 400,000 French-speaking residents now have easy access to FRANCE 24. ”
