With already more than two million downloads for mobile phones and tablets (iPhone, iPad, Android, smartphones), FRANCE 24 is launching a new application especially designed for Windows Phone 7.

Completely free and available in 3 languages ​​(English, French and Arabic), the new FRANCE 24 application makes full use of the ergonomics of the Windows Phone 7 operating system (OS) thanks to a panoramic format that gives quick and easy access to all the essential information.

 

This new application gives access to the live broadcast, the headlines, full articles and the latest news bulletin, as well as recent programs and a tool for geographical referencing of news articles :

 

► The first screen of the FRANCE 24 application on Windows Phone 7, called "Headlines", aggregates and prioritizes all the latest international news.

 

► Windows Phone holders can also follow FRANCE 24 live in 3 languages in the “LIVE” section, but also find the latest news bulletin, the latest economic bulletin, the sports segment and the weather forecast.

 

► Application users can also find and watch all the latest FRANCE 24 shows in the “Shows” section, which lists all the programs broadcast by FRANCE 24 over the past month.

 

►A geo-location tool allows users to instantly find all the news related to a region thanks to an innovative tool that automatically and geographically references all FRANCE 24 resources.

 

► Last but not least, thanks to the "Search" section, users can quickly find all text and video resources produced by FRANCE 24 by using keywords
