Design Engineer (Development and network systems)
Missions:
As part of the Internet team you:
. will be in charge of the deployment of technical architectures
. will assure integration of applications with development teams and project managers
. will assure migration of Internet platform version changes
. will be in charge of relations with contractors or partners supplying technical services such as hosting, pass band and caching
. will assure the creation of any subdomains needed for mini-sites
. will assure settings and smooth operation of tools delivered by contractors such as mediametry, advertising, audience (XITI, etc.)
. will assure smooth upward flow of a wide range of statistics.
Experience:
From 2 to 5 years operating critical web application solutions for end-user accounts.
You have successfully managed architecture or organisation projects within an IT department. You are capable of drawing up specifications and of assuring monitoring of project progress.
Your experience will enable you to provide consulting and advice on all types of architectures, system engineering and networks. You enjoy teamwork. Your ability to listen, your good inter-personal skills and your hands on approach to management will enable you to succeed at this job.
Skills:
You are proficient at handling:
- network problems linked to application hosting
- technical strings of Windows and Linux operating systems (deployment, scripting)
- associated security risks (VPN, HTTPS, SFTP...)
- Oracle and MS SQL databases
Tools
Development environments such as DreamWeaver MX, VisualStudio.Net 2003 or 2005
Databases
Good knowledge of relational databases such as SQL SERVER and MySQL.
Technologies
Knowledge and practical experience with languages and formats such as ASP, JSP, PHP, C#, and ASP.Net
Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, XML and XSL is essential.
Good knowledge of the concepts of domain, subdomain, DNS, etc.
Knowledge of mobile technologies is an advantage. You must be capable of learning on the job if necessary.
Education
Engineering School or MSc in InformationTechnology.
