Design Engineer (Development and databases)
Missions:
As part of the Internet team you:
. will be in charge of CMS developments if the development decision is internal
. will be the project manager for Internet platform modification
. will assure relations with contractors or partners providing content (weather, stock market, etc), AVID or co-branded for integration with the FRANCE 24 website
. will assure the integrity and development of databases (data model, adding of items, etc.).
You will work in a young company on the move. You prefer dynamic environments with career prospects.
Experience:
From 2 to 5 years of development in an Internet environment.
You are able to:
- define the specifications of user modifications.
- implement technical specifications
- implement the development and monitoring of modifications if system modifications are subcontracted.
- quickly adapt to new technologies
- make use of self-training skills

- Hibernat for the encapsulation of databases
- Struts for the development of presentation templates
- Eclipse
- DreamWeaver MX, Photoshop
Databases
Good knowledge of the ORACLE database
Technologies
Knowledge of Java, Jboss, HTML, Javascript, XML and XSL is essential
Knowledge and implementation of third party architecture.
Knowledge of AJAX and JSP
Experience of Html / javascript development with more than one navigator among Microsoft Internet Explorer, FireFox, Netscape 7, Opera and FireFox
Knowledge and practical experience with languages and formats such as ASP, PHP and ASP.Net, as well as FLASH, would be an advantage
Education:
Engineering School or MSc in InformationTechnology.
