The second French film to enter this year's competition, "La frontière de l'aube" ("The Frontier of Dawn") has all the ingredients that have earned director Philippe Garrel a growing fan following.  The film is a tale of love and tormented youth in a black-and-white Paris. FRANCE 24's Elizabeth Tchoungui turns the spotlight on Hungarian cinema as she presents Kornel Mundruczo's "Delta" - a moving account of unspoken love between a brother and a sister shot on the banks of the Danube River. Watch an extract of the film and follow our interview with the director. 

This year, Cannes greets Argentina's greatest football legend Diego Maradona, whose rollercoaster life is pictured in "Maradona by Kusturica," a documentary by former Palme d'Or winner Emir Kusturica.
