The sangh parivars (rss,vhp, bajrangdal,etc ) clear-sighted aim is to establish Hitler's Aryan rule in India, and impose the Manu Code with its caste-norms. Just as for the Nazis, the Jews were a great threat, so the sangh parivar considers the Muslims, Christians, Dalits, socialists, communists and modern Hindus a great threat.

The Sangh parivars definition of Nation, is not acceptable. It is monocultural negating other religions and people. Being a citizen of Orissa I can swear in the name of god that this is totally false information...First of all the Orissa state government has banned access of any journalist to riot hit Kandhamal district...It is banned from day 1 after the riots...what ever you can see is through govt press.....second thing is in Orissa the fight is not between Hindu and christian...but it's between the Kui Kondh tribals and the converted pana christians...For years the Converted Pana christians have been forcefully occupying lands of poor tribals with the help of missionaries and second thing is they are taking all the money that is comming through different means for the upliptment of tribals...One more thing is that the pana christians are forcefully converting tribals to christianity because most of villages in kandhamal have christian majority....so the cold was is there from last 20 years when the converted christians pana's are claiming quota which is meant for hindu pana's and kondh tribe.....so these things will happen for centuries...A temporary solution would be to nab the culprits who killed swami lakshmananad who was a very popular social worker amongst the tribals...

I request europe to pull out all its activities of forcible conversions in India. People got proofs of forcible conversion and there is a book published "satya darsini" which described bad things about Hindu gods, its obvious that people will react. There is nothing like freedom of religion followed in India, churches are involved in forcible conversion by offering money at 90% conversions.

Swami Lakshmananda was a 86 year old venerated saint who had been working among the tribals for the last 4 decades. He was killed on the night of a prominent Hindu festival, in front of his minor girl students. Not only was his killed, his body was mutiliated. Joining him among the dead were 4 other hermits, includes a 60 year old Hindu nun

The swami was targetted for he had been on the forefront of efforts against evangelicals and other proselytizers who are hell bent on harvesting us ignorant souls for Christ

I'm a Christian in another part of the world that sees prejudice and persecution dealt against Christians. I also love India deeply as I lived and worked in the Devon area of Chicago for 4 years. I would not want to see our borders closed to these wonderful folks because they can enrich our culture. I would like to mention in light of the comments above: (1) On behalf of those communities that have been persecuted at the hands of Christians in the past or present we are very sorry and ask your forgiveness for both violence and hypocrisy, Jesus did't teach us to kill in the name of God, but to turn the other cheek. (2) The Swami was killed by Maoists from the North, and the Maoists have accepted full responsilbity. (3) Christianity has always appealed to the poor and underpriviledged because it is a faith that equalizes - it is an upsidedown Kingdom. Just as Jesus did not "target" the poor, they were naturally attracted to Him because he stood up for them, valued them, healed them...Christians do not "target" the poor but stand up for them. We are commanded to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with out God. The God who did miracles in the past does them today, and this is very attractive to those who need help from God. Jesus said that for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God is like a camel walking through a needle's head...it's not impossible but it's very difficult because he does not feel that he "needs" God. He has too much to loose, the poor on the other hand have nothing to loose. This is why Christianity has been spreading like wildfire in this region.
(4) Historically, where there is persecution the church actually grows.

Talk about extreme, most Americans could care less about India. As far as trying to take over India why would America want too? The land is over crowded, they worship cows, rats and idols. The case for persecution is the slavery issue, christians disagree with public eye agreement for marginising people from lover cast, it effects in slavery business profits. Slavery and cast differences are illegal in India, but some parites still lobby for that. They do nat want pariasi, or untouchables to be educated, to work and fight for thier rights, have families ttc. it effects slavery dominant money. That is the real issue.

It is very untenable that in the third millenium such practises against faith are still committed. Indeed, this is just the manifestation of wickedness and evil. Religion is something personal and should remain free from any violence. Let Christians respect Hinduist and Hinduist respect Christians also. In many cases, we do not choose or religion, we find ourselves introduced into it through family link and practices. There is tolerance needed in all human relationships and when it comes to matters of religion, any one should tolerate and accept that the other person has the freedom to believe or not to believe, to be Christian, Muslim, Hinduist or pagan. When violence enters into religious affairs, it is no more God who is sought, God is not in extremism. He does not oblige us to believe in Him and does not tie us by violence as to how to believe in Him. Let's be tolerant in religion.
