The negative press and hostile emotions alleged against this Great athlete, saddens me... he has done more for my passion Bicycling, and taught the public that with hard work, and committment anyone can over come many obstacles, he has not been self serving, but had tried to help many of us realize that even on our level ( non-professional) we can be some what accomplished athletes! He has brought bicycling to the front, like football, or basketball. I`m grateful for a standard like Lance, a modern day Hero! One we can all identify with!
He deserves the honor, and protection of a Seven Time Tour De France Champion, and all he needs to be able to compete safely, and undistracted by possible harm or worse from what appears to be sour grapes, he should have the same chance any other bicycling racer will have in the Tour De France to win!
Well, I probably don`t matter but I`m one American not going to France this summer to see, and ride part of the Tour De France. It wouldn`t be the same without Lance...
